2010 - 2011 Registration Information
Registration will be held at Rensselaer Central High School at the following times:
- August 3, 2010 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- August 5, 2010 10:00am - 6:00pm
- August 6, 2010 12:30pm - 4:30pm
First time student and parents need to bring copies of the social security card, birth certificate, immunization record and proof of residency, such as a utility bill.
Parents attending this event will register their student(s), receive book rental fees, register for bus routes and obtain class schedules. 2010 - 2011 Book rental fees are outlined below.

Attendance Procedure
In order that the Rensselaer Central Middle School maintains accurate and meaningful record of student attendance, we ask that the parent or guardian call the School Office before 8:30 A.M., informing us of the reason for their child’s absence. The school attendance officer can be reached by calling 219-866-4661. Failure to contact the school, or the school’s inability to contact a parent/guardian, shall result in an unexcused absence. A note from home, signed by the parent or guardian, stating the reason for the absence must be presented upon the child’s return to school. Failure to bring a note shall result in an unexcused absence.
