Every week for Language Arts we your student will have a spelling/vocabulary list of 10/15 words.  Students will also receive a Spelling Book and will be assigned a spelling lesson every week (unless stated) and this will be due on Fridays.

Every day for Math your student will complete bell work.  Bell work is a short activity that start each math period with mathematical review.  This activity usually takes about 5 minutes

After every 5 lessons in math, there will be a test

We are also working on a variety of standards in this room.  I have created a link on my web page to direct you to the Indiana Standards.  Your student's IEP will state what academic standards he/she is working on.

I am handing out reading logs starting the week of 8/29/11 ~ they will be due, signed by parent, on every Friday.  The students who are in my resource reading class will be able to count the time that we read together in class on their logs.

My Social Studies and Science students will be joining the general education Social Studies and Science classes.  My students will be using a modified curriculum and the grades will be assigned by me.  For a weekly agenda please see your student's agenda book or Mr. Cover's and Mrs. Scherer's web page.
